Olive Vergel de Dios is an American Filipina documentary storyteller born in Los Angeles, California.

She works often in the mediums of analogue and digital, and on occasion in film, animation and illustration. Her photographs typically capture human spontaneity and possess a small sense of humor and wit.

She is currently finishing her B.A. in Photojournalism & Documentary Photography at London College of Communication in London, UK. Alongside her passion for visual storytelling, Olive is deeply interested in archival and library work, particularly in the preservation of photographic collections and historical materials. She is passionate about the role of archives in connecting the past to the present, making visual and historical records more accessible to the public, and helping others uncover their own histories through ancestry research.
